Once my little nephew saw my asus pc, he asked me what an asus driver update meant. I had to find the simplest way possible to explain it to him, so this was the outcome. Updates are like bricks. These bricks are used one by one, each one with a better quality than the previous one. The computer is like a sky scrapper which is building and improving daily with these bricks. Each brick put one over another one, means that the next brick will improve the previous one, that's why it's being put over the last one. It's a never ending process. I'm not sure my nephew understood what I was trying to tell him.
